    The Engineering Solutions team at the
    PACCAR Technical Center in Mount Vernon WA is a new, growing team within the
    PACCAR Global Engines group with a goal to provide highly generic, robust, and streamlined software solutions to multiple departments and divisions within
    PACCAR.

    These solutions will typically support data acquisition and analysis, rapid controls prototyping, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, calibration control, diagnostics, and software configuration management activities.

    We are looking for a talented and highly motivated software supervisor who is willing to manage a team that works across disciplines.

    The supervisor will have an opportunity to lead a team that utilizes a variety of technologies along with core engineering and computer science fundamentals to deliver solutions to achieve this goal.

    Job Functions / Responsibilities


    Lead the end-to-end software development process from ideation to deployment, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions to assist with data archival, analysis, and reporting utilizing a variety of technologies.

    Ensure that all software development practices, including coding, testing, and CI/CD workflows follow industry best practices and quality standards.

    Stay up to date with the latest software development trends, technologies, and tools, and apply them to drive innovation and improve software development processes and deliverables for
    PACCAR.

    Lead the research and development of the implementation of a robust data pipeline focused on ensuring data quality, global accessibility, and conformance to regulations at
    PACCAR.

    Manage the development and maintenance of software solutions that support processes for data analysis, software release, software configuration management, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, and rapid controls prototyping activities.

    Create and manage a global strategy to align solutions within the Global Engines Group.
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering)
    At least four years of experience in a professional environment
    Use of version control systems (SVN, Git)
    Strong programming skills required, object-oriented design/development (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, Java, C, C++, C#, embedded software development) & database development
    Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve business objectives
    Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for solving complex technical challenges
    Understanding of software architecture and design principles, with experience in developing distributed software solutions.
    Self-directed, excellent analysis and engineering judgment

    Organized and disciplined with ability to manage personal workload and a willingness and initiative to respond to shifting time and project demands.

    Ability to travel up to 10%, including international travel

The salary range for SuperTruck Fleet Connectivity Development Engineer is $93,000 – $145,500 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
