    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Gurnee, IL for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, providing occupational therapy services to support their academic, social, and functional development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
    • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans.
    • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
    • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Work Schedule:

    • Full-time position for the upcoming school year.

    Grade Levels:

    • Kindergarten to 12th grade.

    Location:

    • Gurnee, IL.
