Job Overview:
The SIS Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting students and staff in utilizing computer systems, classroom technology, and online tools to enhance the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Offer exceptional customer service to District staff and students
- Setup, update, and manage hardware configurations
- Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications
- Manage networks and telecommunications equipment
- Aid the Network Administrator in upholding network integrity and security measures
- Handle equipment transfers between buildings
- Identify areas for program improvements to enhance computer efficiency
- Provide one-on-one and classroom training to staff on computer usage
- Conduct staff development sessions on utilizing computers for instructional purposes
- Maintain detailed inventory of equipment and software
- Create and update documentation for systems, work orders, and projects
- Adhere to safety and security protocols
- Provide administrative assistance to the technology department
- Perform any other assigned duties

Required Technology Skills:
An ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of computer systems, mobile technology, software applications, the internet, and educational technologies.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience
