This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
Do you have a passion for digital services for insight and trends? DMV's Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking a motivated technology-forward thinking Information Technology (IT) Developer to be a part of a dynamic team that serves in the Innovation Product Section/Virtual Field Office Product Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the quality, reliability, user experience and access of DMV technology products. As an IT Specialist 1 you will be instrumental in interpreting technology and/or business problems, formulating and presenting solutions to stakeholders. IT Specialist 1 is responsible for analysis, design, application development and documentation. IT Specialist 1 possess a good practical technical knowledge base, which includes emerging "cutting-edge" technologies. The IT Specialist 1 performs Software Engineering domains and duties related to the developing and supporting software systems including user research, user-centric design, development, configuration, testing, and implementation.
