    The candidate would also participate in product design reviews, provide input or functional requirements, perform stakeholder analyses and ensure effective and consistent communication with all appropriate parties.


    Some of the specific responsibilities include:

    Support the coordination of module design engineering activities including, but not limited to: Processing engineering changes class I and II, deviations, redline drawings, interface coordination, industrial support, validation support, technical action identification and closure, production & field support (root cause identification of field events and/or special findings during overhaul shop visits etc.) and task planning (scope, budget and timeline etc.).Drive tasks to completion, on time and within budgetResponsible for budget creation, scheduling, and EVMSProject Discipline support to manage multiple development programsContribute with complex products and processes while working a variety of program activitiesManage, initiate, and coordinate Class I / Class II engineering changes and deviations required by the programs utilizing the CCB (Configuration Control Board) processHave in depth knowledge of project management activitiesEffective communication and presentation skillsIntegrate multi-discipline requirements including Aero, Structures, Design, Manufacturing & ProcurementPrepare and present information at discipline and/or program reviewsProvide periodic updates to team leader and team members highlighting accomplishments, progress, technical issues and any potential roadblocksInterfacing with internal stakeholders such as the program office and executives, as well as external stakeholders such as industry customers, government agencies, and suppliers.

    Proactively identify project risks, develop robust mitigation plans, and lead the timely execution of those plans.

    Participate in technical design discussions and lead customer presentationsAdherence and development of engineering standard workProvide timely and effective communication to management, suppliers, the engineering team, and customersExperience in project engineering for complex mechanical or electrical productsFamiliarity with Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and experience maturing emerging technologies to higher TRLRequired Skills (Technical Competency):Bachelors Degree in relevant field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Engineering)5-8 years of related engineering experience3 years of experience in Project Management and/or component developmentStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook and TeamcenterMust be a U.S.

    Work Environment:
    Mostly remote positionSubstantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
    Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
    Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

    Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PMAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer location, if neededThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
