- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of vendor and supplier contracts, including without limitation medical device and pharmaceutical procurements, large capital/maintenance agreements, product evaluation agreements, consignment agreements, consulting services, software license agreements, and other purchased services.
- Advising the organization on compliance with state procurement requirements and organizational procurement policies, including oversight of competitive bidding process and practices
- Performing legal review and analysis to ensure contracts are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HIPAA, as well as accreditation requirements.
- Reviewing and revising corporate policies and procedures as necessary.
- Advising the organization on the litigation and other risks of potential business decisions.
- Adding strategic value and collaborating with others to meet organizational goals and business objectives.
- Reviewing and monitoring relevant case law, changes to relevant state and federal laws, and regulatory guidance.
