    This is an entry level role where the Pipefitter Trainee will assist Foreman and Journeymen in the layout, assembly, and the installation of accessories and equipment.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Sorting out material, assembling and sealing ductwork on the floor.
    • Assist installation crews as a "ground man" which would entail cranking the winch on the duct lift.
    • Load, transport, unload and furnish experienced trade worker with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
    • Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
    • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
    • Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of journeyman's tools and equipment when necessary.
    • Perform other routine duties as directed by experienced tradesperson.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Technical Trade School completion or undergoing Apprentice Program preferred.
    • GED or High School graduate required.
    • Must have a Valid Drivers License.
    • Must be able to follow specific directions and perform a variety of duties which may often change.
    • Must be able to evaluate information using measurable standards.
    • Must be able to work within standards.
    • Must be willing to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.

    Physical Requirements:
    Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction).
    Must be able to hear, and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.
    Must use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and stoop.
    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
