Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist based in Columbia, MD, with partial work-from-home opportunities. The Occupational Therapist will provide personalized therapy interventions, conduct patient assessments, and design tailored rehabilitation plans to enhance patient outcomes. They will work across various patient demographics, including pediatrics, monitor progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Additional responsibilities include patient education and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including assessment and intervention planning
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and foundational principles in medicine related to patient care
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with clients and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Experience working with pediatric populations and tailoring therapy to meet their unique needs
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a state license to practice in Maryland
- Ability to work independently with professionalism, empathy, and respect for client autonomy
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for at-home or on-site appointments
