Summary

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), Asset Management, Business, Delivery and Performance (TPW) organization in Planning and Asset Management (TP), Transmission Services (T).

A successful candidate in the Management and Program Analyst position will serve as senior management analyst and financial subject matter and technical expert providing direction and leadership for the organization with regard to cost management, budget, or similar financial initiatives.

Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:

• Design and lead the development of cost management strategies.
• Review management variance statements and validate they meet the organization's financial standard for reporting.
• Provide programmatic and financial consulting, cost analysis, and an objective third-party review of costs across the Transmission Asset Management platform and associated Transmission organizations.
• Plan, lead, and conduct studies of the effectiveness of Transmission and Transmission Asset Management budgets and financial results to assist managers in determining the extent to which goals and objectives are being captured and achieved in operational budgets.
• Recommend alternatives to improve budget management practices to support desired outcomes.
• Lead cross-Transmission teams on special projects to support key financial decision-making.
