    Job Title: Mental Health Evaluator

    About the Job

    We are seeking fully licensed Mental Health Evaluators to join our team in the Emergency Department at Seattle Children's.

    As a Mental Health Evaluator, you will provide mental health assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and families with serious developmental, emotional, and behavioral difficulties who present to the emergency department.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment services to patients in the emergency department
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
    • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses
    • Utilize evidence-based practices to provide high-quality patient care

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
    • Minimum of two years experience providing direct treatment services to children and families
    • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State
    • Minority Mental Health Specialist designation preferred

    Work Environment

    Schedules are subject to change, but the current needs are evenings and nights. These are 0.75 FTE positions (60 hours per bi-weekly pay periods) on 12-hour shifts.
