    Job description:This position is part of the IT department at Client and belongs to the Endpoint Engineering team.

    As a Client Mac Desktop Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the best possible employee experience and the highest levels of productivity.

    Your responsibilities will include the evaluation, recommendation, design and engineering of products utilizing the industry's leading technologies.

    Key responsibilities:
    Design and engineer macOS systems adhering to Client standards for optimal performance and stabilityDevelop, engineer, and evolve macOS computer policies, configurations, and workflowsDiagnose advanced issues arising during the integration of macOS with third-party hardware and software, conducting root cause analysesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver macOS solutions that are not only reliable and secure but can also operate seamlessly at scaleContinuously analyze current processes and procedures, providing recommendations for maintenance or improvements to enhance efficiencyCreate comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and knowledge base articles, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStay current with industry trends and advancements in macOS technologies to recommend and implement improvements

    Required Skills:
    A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting macOS within a large enterprise environmentProficiency in administering Jamf Pro for comprehensive computer managementOutstanding product and industry knowledge of macOS, demonstrating a deep understanding of its functionalities and best practicesProficiency in Bash or Python scripting for efficient automation and system customizationFamiliarity with software development environments and tools commonly used by software developers on macOSAbility to research and drive complex technical solutions comprising multiple technologiesExcellent communication skills, with the capability to articulate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    Preferred Skills:
    Hands-on experience with Service NOW, demonstrating proficiency in utilizing this platform for efficient IT service managementCertifications in macOS administration or JAMF 300+, highlighting a commitment to professional development and mastery of relevant technologiesExperience with Google Admin MDM, showcasing proficiency in managing and optimizing mobile devices within a Google ecosystemKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools, showcasing an understanding of collaborative and automated software development processes
