    Senior Mechanical Engineer

    onsite in

    Anaheim, CA

    This is a long-term contract opportunity


    Compensation:
    up to $70.92/hr.

    Shift 1st : 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


    The Engineer (Mechanical) position is responsible for reviewing and investigating historic drawings, documentation, and on-site, and internal knowledge to confirm the construction of liquid utility systems.

    Create a compressed air model of the client location compressed air system using AFT Arrow gas flow simulation software. Account for all generation systems, drying systems, pipe systems, instrumentation, and points of use, and field verify the model. Explain how the model is set up. Model the following various operating scenarios.


    Manage, maintain, and update the existing chilled water models for Disneyland and California Adventure in AFT Fathom liquid modeling software.

    Account for all generation systems, pipe systems, instrumentation, and points of use, and field verify the model.


    Basic Qualifications:
    Minimum experience:

    2+ years modeling compressible and incompressible fluid systems (liquid and gas)

    Experience with any of the following fluid modeling software packages:

    AFT Fathom and/or Arrow

    Revitalize PIPE-FLO

    Pipe Flow Software Pipe Flow Expert

    Flite Software Fluid Flow

    Preferred Qualifications:

    4+ years of modeling compressible and incompressible fluid systems (liquid and gas)

    Experience with AFT Fathom and Arrow specifically

    B.S. Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with an emphasis in fluid mechanics

    Experience with designing, analyzing, modeling, or operating central plant mechanical utility systems:

    Chilled water

    Hot water/steam

    Compressed air

    Natural gas

    Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California
