    J2T is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling payroll processing, tax compliance, and experience with prevailing wages.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and execute payroll processing for multiple entities promptly and accurately, including salaried and hourly staff.
    • Ensure precision in all payroll transactions, deductions, and adjustments.
    • Manage payroll operations for employees spanning various locations and departments.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in prevailing wage laws and regulations.
    • Ensure meticulous adherence to prevailing wage requirements in payroll processing.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the payroll team, offering support, mentorship, and training as necessary.
    • Supervise team performance and contribute to setting performance targets for 3 to 7 direct reports.
    • Maintain meticulous payroll records and documentation for audit purposes.
    • Generate payroll-related reports for management, HR, and accounting departments.
    • Analyze payroll data to provide insights for process enhancement and cost efficiency.
    • Vendor Management.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
    • Extensive experience in prevailing wage essential.
    • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in payroll management, including supervisory roles.
    • Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
