    Your Role

    The Claims Shared Support Services team actively engages in providing and eliciting business requirements for system enhancements, by identifying a desired future state that addresses a business problem utilizing multiple analytic methods interviewing, brainstorming, chair-siding/observation, problem identification, and gap analysis. The Business Systems Analyst, Experienced will report to the Sr. Manager of Claims Shared Support Services. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional business units to drive for solutions that will enhance and create efficiency in claims processing through research, analysis and strategizing solutions that remove impediments from overall claims processing. You will also provide subject matter expertise, help design and establish process, help triage and identify system resolutions to problems that may occur from inception of a claim to output of the payment and remittance.

    Your Work

    In this role, you will:

  • Conduct data analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business initiatives with limited support
  • Support systems scope definition and objectives through research combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
  • Support Requirements Elicitation through identifying a desired future state that addresses a business problem utilizing multiple analytic methods such as JAR/JAD, interviewing, brainstorming, chair-siding/observation, problem identification, and gap analysis
  • Identify and update Business Process Models utilizing standard applications
  • Support the development or modification of information systems, including analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing systems
  • Create supporting documentation from desk-level procedures to policy overviews
  • Drive, manage and support work efforts through research, analysis, and feasibility
  • Provide solutions to claims processing issues and concerns
  • Work with multiple layers of management and provide detailed analysis or present walk through of solutions
