Ron Tonkin Toyota — one of Portland's leading automotive dealerships — is looking for an experienced, hands-on Internet Director to lead our Internet Sales Team.
This in-person leadership role offers a rare opportunity to oversee a high-performing internet department from a single location in Portland.

This is an on-site leadership role where you'll directly oversee internet sales operations for Ron Tonkin Toyota, collaborating closely with the General Sales Manager and Sales Managers to drive appointments, conversions, and revenue.
We are one of the fastest growing Toyota dealers in the PWN, you'll have the inventory and support needed to succeed.
You'll have the autonomy to implement strategy, the support to grow your team, and the tools to deliver industry-leading performance — all while working for one of the most established names in the Portland automotive market.
Internet Director ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the internet for Ron Tonkin Toyota
Data management, performance metrics
Train and coach internet team members on phone skills, CRM best practices, and process execution
Prep, negotiate and desk transactions
Monitor and manage CRM (DriveCentric) processes
Work closely with Sales Managers to coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and closing strategies
Evaluate lead sources, conversion rates, and team productivity to continuously improve performance
Report on key performance metrics and execute improvements based on data
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of internet/BDC staff
Continue to grow the Internet Sales Department
Internet Director Compensation And Benefits
Compensation range:
$100,000–$180,000, based on experience and performance

Qualifications
Internet Director Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager or 2+ years as an Internet Director
2+ years of experience with CDK and DriveCentric required
Proven track record of internet sales team leadership and appointment-driven performance
Strong understanding of automotive digital retail strategies and lead management
Effective communicator with coaching and leadership experience
Ability to motivate and train a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment
Corporate Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
