    Job Summary:


    Village Caregiving, a premier in-home care agency in Rapid City, South Dakota, is seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to clients in the Deadwood/Spearfish/Belle Fourche area.

    This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $18 to $20, paid semimonthly.

    As an individual contributor, the In-Home Caregiver will work closely with clients in their homes to provide assistance with daily activities, promote independence and ensure their overall well-being.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
    • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
    • Administer medication as directed by the client's healthcare team
    • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients
    • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
    • Document care provided and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
    • Adhere to all healthcare and safety protocols
    • Foster a supportive and caring relationship with clients and their families

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare or related field preferred not required
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate and patient nature
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
