    Description


    Varonis is a pioneer in data security and analytics, specializing in software for data protection, threat detection and response, and compliance.

    Varonis protects enterprise data by analyzing data activity, perimeter telemetry, and user behavior; prevents disaster by locking down sensitive data; and efficiently sustains a secure state with automation.


    We are searching for a passionate and experienced Software Engineer to join our team which develops a software suite that protects the storage servers from cyber-attacks and insider threats.

    Our products analyze the behavior of the people and machines that access client data, as well as alert on misbehavior, and automatically enforce a least-privilege model on large scale environments.

    Who are you?

    You are a software engineer who knows how to deliver high quality software which is performant, scalable, readable, testable and maintainable with minimal bugs
    You understand the importance of the user experience in the ability to work with a system and therefore its effect on the intrinsic value of the product to the customer
    When you code, you reflect and seek feedback on design choices and trade-offs you make
    You value engineering excellence and write testable, clear and reusable code
    You are humble and eager to learn from mistakes and you socialize the lessons learned
    You collaborate well with your peers and partner teams
    You are self-motivated and self-managed, able to take ownership of your work and work in a scrum team

    The Responsibilities

    Help to design, build and support the backend of our product in C# and SQL server
    Write automated tests to make sure our product is delivered at high quality
    Help migrate our current on-prem solution to a cloud native one, leveraging cloud technologies such as Rabbit, Docker, Managed SQL, Service Fabric and more
    Communicate with our Product Managers and give feedback on the requirements they will give you to benefit the product
    Work in a dynamic scrum team

    The Requirements

    4+ years of proven backend asynchronous (multi-threaded) development experience (C#)
    Experience in writing tests for both web and backend platforms
    Good English and interpersonal skills

    Advantage:
    Ability to read and write SQL code

    Advantage:
    Experience with RabbitMQ / other Service bus


    Advantage:
    Experience with Docker


    Advantage:
    Knowledge of Azure or AWS
