    Fulton County DUI Court-Sandy Springs-Atlanta, Georgia

    River Edge Behavioral Health operates several locations in Fulton County. The mission of the Fulton County DUI Treatment Court is to enhance public safety and promote healthier lifestyles for repeat DUI offenders. The Court combines increased supervision and accountability with effective and intensive treatment, thereby reducing recidivism.

    The Fulton County DUI Treatment Court Program is a post-conviction treatment program for those who have multiple violations of driving while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants. It is a part of the probation portion of a DUI Sentence.

    The DUI Treatment Court Program is an interdisciplinary team approach involving the Judge, prosecutor, public defender or private defense attorney, case managers, probation, Marshal's department, program coordinator, and substance abuse treatment professionals. The team partners with the program participants throughout the process to ensure individual needs are met while restoring accountability.

    Under the supervision of the Director of Fulton Judicial Services, the Associate Licensed Clinician will:

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Perform individual counseling
    • Facilitate group counseling
    • Attend court as needed
    • Other assigned duties

    Qualifications:
    • Must have an Associate License or be Fully Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW)
    • Demonstrate expertise and/or knowledge in mental health and substance abuse services and community resources.
    • At least one year of post-master's experience providing mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
    • At least one year of case management experience in the community and/or the criminal justice system.
    • Must have a current Georgia driver's license.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Group facilitation experience.
    • Knowledge of substance use disorders.
    • Desire to work with DUI Court program.
