    Description

    Job Title: Plating Technician.

    Description: The Plating Technician is responsible for set up and maintenance of plating baths and miscellaneous related equipment including fixtures and hand tools and measuring instruments.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    1. High school graduate

    2. 1 year Prior Plating experience working in aerospace industry

    3. 1 Year of chrome, nickel, or cadmium plating experience preferred

    4. 1-year Pre and post cleanings surface finish


    • Experience in chrome, nickel, or cadmium plating


    • Monitors parts as they progress through plating baths


    • Maintain the plating line to include: tank additions, tank and area cleanliness, chemical storage and date monitoring


    • Prepare and process parts through various plating lines including hard chrome plating lines


    • Plate, mask, racking, fixturing and clean-up for assigned job


    • Metal fabrication


    • Read gauges and tachometers

    Shift/Schedule: 1st & 2nd shift positions available.

    Pay Rate: $17 - $25/hr. Depending On Experience
