The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Florida, Jacksonville is seeking an applicant to fill a Clinical Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor at the non-tenure accruing level.
Experienced physicians as well as recent graduates will be considered. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, but we encourage Pain Management Anesthesiologists to apply. Academic rank will be Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, depending on applicants' experience.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the finest aspects of both the academic and private sectors The anesthesiology department at UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville is a medium-sized academic practice. We are currently looking anesthesiologists who are board-certified in pain management. Our clinical sites are a level 1 trauma center and a fast-paced community hospital nearby. This position is for those interested in resident education, scholarly activity, clinical research, and the intellectually stimulating aspects of academia. The main campus is a primary training site with a higher level of acuity, and a full range of service lines. Our physicians, CRNAs, CAAs, and residents comprise a collegial, tight-knit group who enjoy working together and appreciate a proper work/life balance. All of us revel in the quality of life here in Northeast Florida and want to ensure that we are able to fully partake in it We work hard and diligently, but we don't overwork anyone. Also, we take care to personally support each other both inside and outside of the workplace. Relationships with other services and with staff members in the UF Health system are mutually respectful and pleasant – we are all "on the same team" and work well together, with minimal conflict.
