    job purpose: The Manager of Category Commercialization, Value-Added Dairy will be a key member of the cross-functional team responsible for implementing the go-to-market strategy for fairlifes ultra-filtered milk. This role reports to the Director, Category Commercialization. This role requires a true thought leader to lead the fairlife business by connecting consumer, category, channel and customer insights to develop breakthrough strategies and plans that exceed fairlifes long-term growth objectives. This individual will work cross-functionally with marketing, K&I, innovation, sales, finance, and operations teams to design and execute strategic growth initiatives that deliver unmatched value for the Company and our customers.

    responsibilities

    • Guide consumer and occasion-led category commercial strategy for the Value-Added Dairy segment, and ensures strategy is effectively translated to Channel/Customer teams
    • Lead analysis to track category and brand performance, utilizing various tools and resources including Trade Reporting, Nielsen, and Numerator, among other data sources.
    • Identify trends within the category, and leverage those insights into growth opportunities for our brands
    • Develop best-in-class, comprehensive category review materials that help translate data into key actions to build strategies during annual planning process
    • Support the development and stewardship of the ultra-filtered milk annual business plan (ABP) internally and with the Coca-Cola network
    • Support the development of the monthly operating forecast, providing commercial, retailer and consumer insights that may impact demand, in conjunction with cross functional teams
    • Support the sales organization by working with the Shopper Marketing and Customer/Channel Commercial teams to deliver exceptional programming, merchandising programs, and category insights to drive growth
    • Ensure all key system commercial milestones are completed on time including, but not limited to, Annual Operating Plans, Category Review Plans, Monthly Operating Reviews, brand/pack AMPS (Availability, Merchandising, Pricing, Shelving) and flawless execution of any future innovation launches within the category
    • Execute ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis

    skills/qualifications required

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred
    • 4-7+ years CPG management experience in a commercial, marketing, revenue growth and/or sales roles
    • Strong analytical capabilities, translating data to drive action and results
    • Experience presenting strategic initiatives to senior level leadership
    • Experience with Nielsen, IRI, or similar programs
    • Ability to take programs from concept to completion
    • Strong project management skills required
    • Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business lines to accomplish shared goals and manage expectations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    • Strong influencing skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • High proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs
