We are looking for a
Human Resources Director
responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
Responsible for all human capital management, policies and procedures and overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources functions.
Annually reviewing and making recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.
Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensuring the organization's compliance.Maintaining responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
Communicating changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensuring that proper compliance is followed.
Developing appropriate policies, procedures, and training for effective management of people resources of the organization including programs for employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee complaints, and career development, among others.
Reviewing, making recommendations, and overseeing all human capital information systems and databases to ensure accurate pay, benefits, compliance, and reporting needs of the organization.
Evaluate, make recommendations and negotiate individual and group employment contracts, including union plansSpecific qualifications for the position include :
Bachelor's degree and four to 10 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Union experience required
Master's degree preferred
SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred
Pay Rate Range :
$130,000 - $170,000 per year
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
