    Job Description

    Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to support student health and mobility needs in a school setting located in Cambridge, MA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in pediatric physical therapy within educational environments who are seeking a contract opportunity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to meet student-specific needs
    • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
    • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
    • Assist in planning adaptive equipment and modifications within the school setting to enhance student participation
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services

    Qualifications and Desired Experience:

    • Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials to practice in Massachusetts
    • Experience working with children in schools or pediatric settings preferred
    • Strong knowledge of developmental motor skills, neuromuscular conditions, and rehabilitation techniques for children
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills essential

    Location:

    • Cambridge, MA services will be provided within the school environment on a contract basis
