- Troubleshoots, repairs and performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance on various food processing equipment, systems and related controls indendently. (45%)
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work. (40%)
- Works in fabricating as needed. (10%)
- Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed. (5%)
- Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
- Aware and accountable in maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
- Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
- Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
- Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Seven plus years of experience in repair, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Advance knowledge of electrical componets and wiring
- Advanced mechanical skills
