    Intern/department Summary

    The food manufacturing maintenance department is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of machinery and equipment essential for food production. Its primary focus is on preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to uphold food safety standards and maximize production efficiency.





    Essential Duties and Responsibilities



    Project Details:

    The role encompasses various responsibilities, including data collection and storage, transitioning paper manuals into digital formats, assisting in compiling information on spare parts, supporting maintenance planners and buyers in accessing details about parts or equipment, and potentially analyzing maintenance downtime data to generate comprehensive reports. These tasks contribute to streamlining processes, improving accessibility to vital information, and enhancing overall efficiency within the maintenance department.

    EDUCATION

    Attending four-year college or university to attain Bachelor's degree (B.S., or B.A.); or already awarded Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. Preferred field of study; Engineering, Business Analytics, or Project Management

    REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, project leadership, analytical, and reasoning skills.
  • Self-starter and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
  • Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
  • Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
