    Schedule | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    Pay | $22 - $23 per hour


    Purchasing Specialist responsibilities:
    Initiate the process by requesting price quotations from potential suppliers for specific goods or services needed by the organization.

    Communicate with suppliers to discuss material specifications, clarifications, and confirm bill of materials, negotiate pricing, and identify alternatives for special or custom items.

    Analyze received quotations, comparing prices, quality, delivery terms, and other relevant factors to determine the best value proposition for the organization.

    Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and assess the overall impact on the organization's budget.
    Maintain detailed records of quotations received, including supplier information, prices, terms, and any negotiated changes.
    Requirements | Previous experience working in a purchasing department, familiar with RFQ's, PlO's, requisitions, etc.

    The candidate must have intermediate Excel skills; experience calling vendors and getting quotes and previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

    The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.

    Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
