Job summary
We are looking for a Full Time BSN Instructor to join our team., This position will instruct Nursing courses in the Nursing programs., Instruction Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and perform evaluations of student learning for all assigned clinicals, labs or simulated clinical experiences (SCE), using each course's standard course outline as a guide., Ensure that students have attained minimum course competencies as described in the course syllabus Supervise debrief and evaluate students in lab clinical SCE and similar settings as appropriate for the course or program Be available to students via email phone or personal conferences Meet all classes and other scheduled responsibilities such as scheduled clinical hours and meetings at the designated times A faculty member should inform the Program Director/Academic Dean if they are unable to meet a student group on time Assure that classroom lab or pre-and post-conference rooms are left clean and orderly at the end of each event- Training Professional Development Attend New Faculty Orientation participate in Faculty Mentor Program Maintain a faculty development plan with assistance from academic administration Attend campus faculty meetings inservice trainings 1and other meetings assigned Remain current in program knowledge including maintaining licensure certification continuing education requirements where appropriate Participate professional activities Administrative Keep accurate attendance records posting attendance portal submitting attendance roster Academic Department timely manner Assign grades maintain coursetudent records accordance FERPA regulations submit grades 1and records established deadlines Make missed lab SCEorclinical phone calls studnets misses actively engaged leaning outcomes Make recommendations adhere Academic Freedom policy outlined Faculty handbook Perform duties designated by Program Administrator Lead InstructorAcademic Dean Collaborates instructors preparing administering grading examinations participates preparation final evaluations Receive classattendance grades submitted Assist strategic planning assessment instructional initiatives ensure quality program Plans implements orientation new faculy theory clinic facilities courses Utilize teaching recognize characteristics adult learner Makes continuous efforts improve quality instruction Demonstrate willing acquire skills utilizing online activities enhancers courscontentmaterial interactive teaching leaning Maintains studnetrecords attendanceskillcheckoffforms assist programpdatacollection Submit required programmreports forms Timelymanner Keep currwithnewtechnologies safregulations Participate committee activities support mission function nursing program Attend facultymeetings Plan supervisesstudent clincal experience assigndhealthfacilities Evaluates tudentperformance relation cliniallearnigoutcomes accordance policies procedures establiseldbyDepartmentNursing Provide feedback clinialperformancesspecificimmediatelyafterobservation Assists maintainsstudntrecordsofclinialattendanceskillchekofformsandassistprogramdatcollectio Responsiblereforsureclinilassignmentsmeetbothstudenfacilityneeds Determinesbestmethodobserveinstructevaluatestudents Determineifclinfacilitymeetsallheathandsaferequirmentsforthestudentsattendlins
