Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Broken Arrow, OKResponsibilities:Provide design and drafting for mechanical design layout for new and revised products utilizing a variety of design software packagesCreate detailed drawings from sketches, outside design layoutsCreate component specifications as requiredRespond to daily requests for drawings/diagrams, documents, presentations, and reportsConduct mechanical inspections as needed using applicable tools, machines, visual, etc.
Able to participate in meetings with customers and vendors, as neededMust perform all work in accordance with all safety proceduresCreate certification documentation and interfacing with outside PE firms and various certification entities.
Required Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering3+ years experience as an Engineer doing design and CADEIT registration Preferred2+ Years experience with Codeware Compress2+ years experience with SolidworksExperience with ERP/MRP systemsKnowledge of project scheduling and the dynamics of custom product manufacturing on customer projects.
