Role Summary*We are searching for a

Senior Capex Buyer (m/f/d) to support our Magna Seating Team.
The role can be executed from
Pilsen (Czech Republic),
Teplice (Czech Republic),
Vigo (Spain) or
Munich (Germany).
The position holder will be responsible for all Purchasing activities during the entire program life.

This incorporates the strategic supplier selection, enhanced commodity knowledge as stated in the commodity section, purchasing of prototype / series material, raw material, tooling and production equipment, management of Magna and OEM sourced suppliers and the observance of the purchasing program budget and price targets.

Key Responsibilities** Ensure the achievement of the purchasing targets

Continually monitor and present Purchasing KPIs such as pricing, capacity, timing, spend, contract status for the program in charge
Keep and manage cost targets during the life cycle of the program
Provide support to the Program / Plant - Team for all purchasing activities
Recommend alternative products or materials and monitor engineering changes for purchasing Parts
Identify new suppliers & develop a program purchasing strategy in alignment with the head quarter commodity manager and NBD purchasing manager
Lead the RFQ process for all program related purchasing activities as per bid list approved by the commodity manager & NBD purchasing manager (if applicable)
Run cost breakdown analysis
Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for your purchasing scope
Initiate and prepare Sourcing Committee. Present Sourcing Documents to the Committee
Order Processing for all Purchasing Activities related to the Program
Provide feedback to departments in regards to purchase order requisition status in a timely manner
Follow and monitor Time-Plan and Milestones from the Supplier (PPM)
Ensure Supplier Readiness for the Production-Launch and monitor Supplier-Scheduling in the launch phase (Launch Support)
Ensure all goods supplied meet MAGNA Seating `s expectations for Health & Safety and environmental and governmental compliance
Ensure Supplier setup and Registration in SAP, eRFX & IMDS / REACH and make sure that data is maintained
Maintain and execute the purchasing process

Key Qualifications/Requirements** Min. high school with technical / economical emphasis

Min. 5 years purchase experience in the automotive industry
Intense knowledge of QAF/Cost breakdown and cost analysis techniques
Orientation in contractual documents
Understanding of IATF 16949, IMDS / REACH, APQP, PPAP
Fluent English skills
Excellent negotiation, presentation and other communicative skills
Developed personnel management and development skills
Self-motivated and able to manage own workload to achieve targets set by self or others
Team and target orientation, high-cost orientation
