The Traffic Engineer will be responsible for...
Conduct traffic analysis using traffic modeling and simulation tools, focusing on signal sequencing, phasing, and timing.
Develop traffic engineering plans for intersections, signals, pavement markings, signage, and construction staging.
Collaborate on the creation of contract documents, including detailed plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
The Traffic Engineer should have the following qualifications...
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Plan to pursue Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
1-4 years of relevant work experience with traffic engineering, traffic flow optimization, signal timing, etc.
Proficient in traffic modeling software (e.g., Synchro, Vissim).
