Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Emergency Department (ED) manages health problems and coordinates health care in the ED setting.
Able to evaluate medical problems of patients who present to the ED and appropriately requests consultation of other specialties when indicated. Provides education to patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
