    Job Summary

    This position involves providing care to residents at the highest level. As a Physical Therapist, you will be assigned to multiple facilities and may experience increased travel time. You will participate as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, managing resources to meet the needs of residents and related customers while balancing outcomes and cost-effective treatment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
    • Evaluates residents' needs and establishes effective treatment plans for assigned residents.
    • Manages and coordinates supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines as indicated.
    • Participates in screening of residents according to directed schedules and practices.
    • Provides feedback to designated supervisors on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
    • Participates in center-directed processes and services.
    • Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment activities.
    • Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet requirements.
    • Maintains accurate billing records to meet requirements.
    • Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
    • Participates in in-service training programs as requested.

    Position Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
    • Current and Active Physical Therapist license within the state of operations.
    • Preferred: Experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation and knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
