- Implement changes to live infrastructure components, from project initiation to deployment and review.
- Ensure continued availability, effectiveness, and risk compliance of the infrastructure.
- Define necessary documentation for each business process.
- Provide guidance on best practices relevant to the use case being developed.
- Recommend process streamlining and operating efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with solution owners and stakeholders to facilitate the design, adoption, and use of appropriate software and tools.
- Maintain server baselines in accordance with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
- Provide support and maintenance for controllers and servers.
- Perform daily operational verification of physical security servers and hardware located in AFRL owned buildings on WPAFB.
- Collaborate with facilities, networking, and engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems related to system operation, maintenance, and warranty work
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Education, Technical, Information Technology, Healthcare, Administration, Engineering, Technology, Software Development, or Management.
- Vendor-specific certifications (funded by the government) for integration and enterprise architecture (existing system: SoftwareHouse/Avigilion).
- Security+ certification.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Minimum 6 years of system administration experience.
- Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining enterprise-level systems.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
