Job DescriptionJob Title: Lead Diesel Mechanic
Location: Warren, PA, USA
Salary: Depends on Experience + Benefits
Type: Permanent Position / Onsite
Job Summary:
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment. Ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repairs. Ability to travel within the service area is required.
Requirements:
Need 5+ years of experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience in performing maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
Should possess Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Should be proficient with computer diagnostic systems.
Should be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Essential Duties:
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
Diagnose and repair assigned vehicles and equipment.
Provide guidance to other maintenance personnel.
Use vehicle computer systems to diagnose issues.
Estimate repair time and costs, requisition new parts.
Report additional work needs to supervisor.
Inspect quality of outside repairs.
Handle emergency breakdowns.
Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
Perform maintenance-related work as required.
May perform maintenance supervisory duties in the absence of a supervisor.
