    We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Temecula, CA.

    Your main missions will be the following:

    • Define overall high voltage and low voltage system architecture design and engineering in compliance with all relevant global vehicle codes and standards in both prototype and production environment.
    • Work with stakeholders to translate customer requirements to functional and specification requirements.
    • Generate schematics based on system requirements, design and engineering of power distribution hardware.
    • CAD routing and layouts for wire harness builds, strategic electrical sourcing and build of production electrical hardware, complete system DVP&R, Design, build, test validate electrical hardware designs.
    • Generate and maintain documentation for production and after sales support.
    • Create in-house harnesses, including designing and building manufacturing boards.
    • Conduct thorough research to identify suitable suppliers for required components and materials, procure competitive quotes, and initiate purchase requests, ensuring meticulous consideration of delivery timelines and available stock levels.

    The profile we are looking for:

    Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical systems design and integration projects preferably automotive, medium and heavy duty commercial vehicle experience including high voltage high power systems (+500 kW, +1000VDC, +480VAC), DCDC converters, inverters, and power distribution hardware.

    Experience in fuel cell systems, battery systems, or electric powertrains development for automotive or commercial vehicles.

    Demonstrated strong experience in wire harness design and fabrication to production, and hands- on experience in installation, routing and securing high and low voltage harnesses in heavy duty commercial vehicle environment.

    Hands on experience assembling system and component level prototypes, building, and setting up test benches to perform systems and component validation for durability, reliability, safety and performance.

    Experience with the following tools preferred : E3 Cable, Capital Harness, 3D Experience-Catia, CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, Orcad, Altium, CANAlyzer, Pro-E, P-Spice, MATLAB/Simulink

    Experience and understanding in automotive communication systems.

    Experience with wire selection, fusing strategies and grounding strategies & Harness bracket design

    Skills: Knowledgeable in sensors, data acquisition, data collection and analysis Knowledge about topology * Awareness of best practices to minimize electrical interference * Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulations * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    Education & Certifications: bachelor's or master's degree in engineering discipline or mathematical physics such as electrical or computer engineering, or a related field preferred.

    The salary range for this position is $110,000 USD to $160,000 USD. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
