- Perform preventive, routine, and 100-hour maintenance, as well as phase/event inspections.
- Conduct quality checks on airframe and powerplant systems to meet manufacturing specifications, FAR's, and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair various aircraft systems in general aviation aircraft.
- Execute aircraft alterations per Supplemental Type Certificates and kit installation procedures.
- Fabricate wire harnesses, mounting brackets, double plates, and perform aircraft skin repairs as required.
- Accompany flight crews for in-flight troubleshooting and adjustments, and conduct preflight evaluations of airframe and powerplant issues.
- Ensure accurate documentation in aircraft logbooks and technical logs in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Read and understand FAA and manufacturer's maintenance publications to address airframe and powerplant issues.
- Verify that components, parts, and materials used in aircraft maintenance have the required release certification or equipment.
- Review and check the work products of others to ensure adherence to standards.
