The SSM Health Turville Bay team has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Dosimetrist to join our radiation oncology department.

Job Highlights:

• Department: Dosimetry
• Sign On Bonus: $10,000 paid in full on 1st pay check*
• Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days off site, 2 days on site. (must live in WI)
• Pay Range: $51.83 - $77.74 /hour Daily pay available
• Location: SSM Turville Bay Location - Madison, WI

As a Medical Dosimetrist at SSM Health Turville Bay, you will develop and administer radiation therapy treatment plans under the direction of physicist and radiation oncologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs a treatment plan to deliver a prescribed radiation dose and field to a defined tumor volume.
• Assists with or performs the application of specific methods of dosimetry, including intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy procedures.
• Assists with or performs the fabrication of beam modifying devices and immobilization devices.
• Provides technical support for radiation protection procedures and qualitative machine calibrations of equipment.
• Maintains radiation safety for self, co-workers and patients in accordance with NRC guidelines.
• Assist physicist in the design and implementation of research activities and performs special projects related to dosimetry.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Dosimetry
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist - (CMD) or Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
• No experience required

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
