- Set machine controls and regulate molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure, and time.
- Assist Mold Setters to safely complete mold changes and maintain quality parts at an acceptable cycle time
- Establish and maintain set points to produce quality parts at the optimum cycle
- Troubleshoot molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Reset and start all material and conveyor equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on molds, such as cleaning and fixing water breaks
- Record data on proper forms or books
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- 3-5 years of injection molding experience required in the Process Technician area
- Scientific processing knowledge
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and production documentation
- Knowledge of robot operation and mechanical skills
- Experience with Plastic Injection Molding machines required
