Fleet Mechanic - Riverside, CA

We are currently seeking a Fleet Mechanic with a strong hands-on background to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance inspections diagnostics repairs on a wide range of vehicles equipment in both the shop field traveling to various locations as needed. This role will work independently under minimal supervision part of a team maintaining a fleet of over Class gas diesel trucks trailers powered equipment such as forklifts tractors skid steers excavators more.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance across the fleet inspect diagnose repair mechanical electrical issues arise coordinate Shop Manager priorities parts needs accurately document all work performed fleet management software implemented maintain clean safe organized work area travel company locations field service repair work collaborate team members busy periods working independently assignments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum years hands-on mechanic experience shop or field setting strong knowledge mechanical systems brakes suspension tires engines drivetrains electrical cooling fuel hydraulics proficient diagnostic tools technology comfortable using computers phone apps diagnostic software ability lift lbs work weather conditions valid California Class C driver's license clean driving record reliable transportation excellent problem-solving skills attention detail ability work minimal supervision part team.
