    Purpose of Position:
    The CCA Foxy mascot serves as a key role in developing and maintaining CCA's institutional branding and school spirit. The Foxy mascot position will require an individual that can engage and energize internal and external constituents (i.e., students, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners, donors, etc.) at CCA based events, meetings, and/or ceremonies.

    JOB DUTIES

    Event & Campus Participation
    • Engage CCA supporters and be fan friendly with an outgoing energetic personality
    • Able to improvise and maintain animated energy in costume while performing physical activities and standing for extended periods of time (up to 3 hours at time)
    • Create personality and character of mascot that is respectful, fun, energetic, and welcoming to guests
    • Participate in Marketing & Communication public relation-based requests
    • Communicate and act as a brand ambassador for CCA when interacting and working with guests
    • Able to assess level of interaction desired by guests
    • Must be comfortable performing in front of a crowd
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors on scheduling and any scheduling conflicts that may arise
    • Participate in semesterly photoshoots
    Equipment:
    • Full responsibility of the costume: ensuring it is presentable, returned appropriately, and kept in good condition
    • Keep costume well maintained and presentable by developing a cleaning schedule in conjunction with supervisor
    • Communicate any costume repairs to supervisor in a timely manner
    • Assist with transporting the equipment (around 10 lbs.) to and from various locations
    • Identify needed supplies and materials for costume which includes Ice packs, batteries for the fan; and any equipment to ensure quality performance by Foxy.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Reliable transportation to and from events on and off campus
    • Able to work days, nights, and weekends, as needed.
    • Strong communication skills with supervisor
    • Experience entertaining and uplifting various groups (preferred not required)
    • Eligibility is open to any CCA student who is not on the Executive Board of Student Government Association (SGA)
    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
    • Must have completed FAFSA on file
    • Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
    • Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
    • Must be seeking an eligible program of study
