Job Description

This opportunity is for a full-time on-site position as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Illinois Recovery Center in Swansea, IL. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be in charge of delivering direct patient care, managing medications, observing patient vital signs, maintaining medical records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to create and execute patient care plans.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Background in addiction treatment or mental health environments
Proficiency in medication administration and vital signs monitoring
Effective communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Solid organizational and record-keeping abilities
Compassionate and empathetic approach
BLS/CPR certification
Adeptness in dynamic work settings and adapting to shifting priorities
Experience with electronic health records
Preferably, a Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing
