    Vision IT is seeking a dynamic Lead Protect Analyst to support a mission to protect, monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to unauthorized activity within information systems and computer networks in Vicksburg, MS

    The Lead Protect Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the analysis and administration of protect services, ensuring timely resolution of subscriber support issues, and serving as a subject matter expert in vulnerability scanning and HBSS (Host-Based Security System) configuration, operation, and management. They will employ effective communication channels to manage subscriber-related issues, prepare trend analysis, and present relevant data for briefing leadership, partners, and subscribers regarding computer network defense.

    Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to) the following:

    • Review and track subscriber support issues and tickets, ensuring timely follow-up and resolutions.
    • Engage infrastructure team for troubleshooting systems impacting team resolution.
    • Ensure all configuration changes and system updates are properly vetted and aligned with configuration management requirements established by the Government.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert in the analysis and administration of vulnerability scans and/or HBSS configuration, operation, and management.
    • Employ effective communication channels (web, email, telephonic) to manage subscriber-related issues and prepare trend analysis, metrics, and other relevant data for presentations.
    • Successfully pass the Joint Qualification Requirement (JQR) test and onboarding process within 90 days of assignment.
    • Prepare documentation and coordinate activities associated with DoD evaluation and inspection activities.

    Required Education, Experience, Clearance and Certification(s):

    • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ISCM, insider threat, and/or protect services (e.g., Endpoint System Security (ESS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Automated Continuous Endpoint Monitoring (ACEM).
    • Successfully pass the Joint Qualification Requirement (JQR) test and onboarding process within 90 days of assignment.
    • DoD 8570 compliance with CSSP-A or CSSP-IR requirements.
    • Additional experience in Windows and/or Linux management and support within a hands-on implementation or administration role.
    • Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP protocol implementations for all common network services, along with demonstrated capability to perform network packet analysis and anomaly detection.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Technical proficiency in protect services, including ESS, ACAS, ACEM, and HBSS.
    • Experience in Windows and/or Linux management and support.
    • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP protocol implementations and network packet analysis.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

    Note: The Lead Protect Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing protect services, ensuring compliance with configuration management requirements and timely resolution of subscriber support issues. They must possess strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams. Travel may be required as needed.
