    Front Desk Crewmember at King's Fish House

    Job Summary:

    As a Front Desk Crewmember, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, orchestrating the flow of the restaurant and ensuring a seamless dining experience. If you are someone who excels at multitasking, communicating effectively, and creating a positive atmosphere, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Answer phone calls promptly, take reservations, and messages while maintaining accurate records.
    • Seat guests as reserved or on a walk-in basis, providing exceptional customer service and accommodating special requests.
    • Carry guest drinks on a tray when showing guests to their table.
    • Transfer guest checks from bartenders and cocktail servers to dining room servers.
    • Maintain accurate account of table status throughout the restaurant.
    • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, regardless of how busy it gets.
    • Interact with guests, management, and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest restrooms.
    • Guide assigned assistants to ensure optimum service to guests.

    Requirements:

    1. Minimum age of 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages with food.
    2. High school education.
    3. Current CA Food Handler's Card.
    4. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
    5. Basic mathematical calculations skills.
    6. Maintain complete knowledge of front desk standards.
    7. Previous experience in guest relations or providing excellent customer service.

    Salary:

    $16.85 per hour plus tip share, averaging $400-$800 per week.
