Description

The successful Dry Cleaner and Presser will be a quick learner, reliable and have the ability to multitask. They will also possess a high level of attention to detail, good hand/eye coordination and a flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of customer focused & a well known dry cleaning business. At Lapels a cleaner/spotter will be responsible for:

• Professional spotting - including recognizing the type of stain and either pre spotting or post spotting garments
• Sorting garments for proper cleaning methods and finishing
• Running dry cleaning and laundry loads
• Light finishing of garments
• Work with your team to deliver same day dry cleaning & laundry services, where needed
• Oversee finishers & pressers to ensure quality work
• Meet all cleaning and pressing standards of quality and efficiency
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast paced environment similar to farming, industrial, or manufacturing labor
• Flexible hours including some Saturdays
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle client's garment with care
• Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to physically manipulate the pressing equipment.
• Previous cleaning and pressing experience preferred, but not required and must be 18 or older.
