    Job Description:
    Assists the govt client with development and implementation of cybersecurity plans, strategy and policy related to the OPNAV Surface Warfare Division (N96) portfolio

    Responsibilities include:


    Assist client in executing Resource Sponsor responsibilities by working with program offices to develop, refine and advocate for cyber related Program Objective Memorandum (POM) issues.

    Advance the measurement of cybersecurity readiness/posture using existing tools including the Cybersecurity Figure of Merit (CFOM) and collection/analysis of additional cyber data collected from within N96 and across the N9.Assist in the development and review of existing and draft cyber policy.

    Work with stakeholders and cyber-SMEs to analyze emergent government and private sector cyber capabilities for possible adoption and implementation.
    Maintain communication channels with N96 cyber stakeholders by organizing and participating in regular N96 led forums.


    Communicate using unclassified/classified collaborative tools to disseminate cyber related information Represent the govt client in various cyber forums and on collaborative teams.

    Perform administrative tasks in support of the client such as responding to unclassified and classified taskers, drafting MOUs, reviewing requirements documents, etc.


    Here's what you will need:


    Cyber background to include experience with topics such as cloud security, cyber threats, identity management, RMF, Computer Network Defense (CND) or similar experience.

    Naval (USN or USMC) operational and/or staff experience IAT/IAM/IASAE Level II or Level III certification preferred. Familiarity with NIST's Special Publication (SP) 800 series.

    The series comprises guidelines, recommendations, technical specifications, and annual reports of NIST's cybersecurity activities
