    Part Time position

    Shuttles and Road tests trucks for Sales and Service Department. Organizes lot and performs general tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Safely transports trucks and or trailers to customers, vendors, and dealerships
    • Park and move trucks in a timely fashion
    • Shuttles trucks in and out of the shop
    • Road Tests trucks on completion of service work
    • Keeps trucks organized on the lot, according to Manager directives
    • Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
    • Keeps logs to the Federal standards
    • Submits completed and correct trip reports and receipts
    • Essential Job Skills:
    • Ability to use yard tractor
    • Ability to drive all trucks
    • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
    • Required license or certification:
    • CDL license A or B
    • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
    Qualifications:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

    REASONING ABILITY

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
