Title:
Indirect Sourcing Manager

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Coordinate with category management teams to develop thorough market and competitive analysis through insight on new product development priorities and markets.

Consult in supplier negotiations leveraging program and product market intelligence, forecasts etc. Partner with category sourcing to ensure favorable sourcing agreements to support both NPI program and serial production.

Develop and maintain close working relationships with cross functional business partners to ensure that business requirements are understood and translated into effective material category strategies.

Participate in sourcing category long-range planning processes and the establishment of program supportive annual category objectives and strategies.

Gain thorough understanding of business(es) product and technology roadmaps and proactively work with suppliers and commodity leaders to ensure the suppliers' capability and technology roadmaps and investments are well aligned to future needs.

Ensure that category sourcing strategies are followed by new product development teams which includes analysis and review of customer requirements, product requirements, quality requirements, market conditions, supplier capabilities, the approved supplier list and category strategic plans.

Communicate and vet potential supplier additions with strategic commodity teams and leaders.

Serve as single "Supply Chain" program point of contact for key account customers.


EXPERIENCE:
5+ years Negotiating and Sourcing Capital Equipment.
Indirect Sourcing Experience
Working knowledge of Purchasing Agreements and Amendments to them.
Ability to work with legal teams to execute on master service agreements.
