    Job Description

    The Senior Procurement Lead will be primarily responsible for negotiating and completing the entire contract lifecycle. This role involves drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, compliance, and risk mitigation.

    The Senior Procurement Lead Specialist collaborates with various stakeholders, including legal, and cyber teams, as well as the multiple insurance lines we assist to establish and maintain effective contractual relationships.


    What you will do:

    Contract Development and Drafting:
    Develop and draft contracts, agreements, and amendments in collaboration with legal and relevant stakeholders.
    Ensure contracts align with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
    Clearly articulate terms, conditions, deliverables, and performance metrics in contracts.

    Contract Negotiation:
    Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable and mutually beneficial agreements.
    Collaborate with insurance lines and other relevant departments to understand business needs and objectives during negotiations.

    Contract Management:
    Maintain a centralized contract management system to track and monitor contract statuses, expirations, and renewals.
    Manage and administer existing contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
    Work with suppliers to address issues, amendments, and modifications as needed.

    Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
    Conduct thorough risk assessments for each contract, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
    Collaborate with legal ensure that contracts align with the organization's risk tolerance and compliance standards.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including cyber, legal, finance, and project management teams.
    Work closely with vendors to build and maintain positive relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    What you will bring to C&F:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Procurement, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration.
    In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and industry best practices.
    Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions.

    The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $75,200.00 to a maximum of $125, The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role.

    To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
