    Job Description:

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain all mechanical systems as required to ensure proper operation for cooling and heating.
    • Experienced in the overall installation and repair of package units and split systems.
    • Assist the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer in maintenance and upkeep of the NYSE building plant, primarily in regard to the HVAC and plumbing systems.
    • Maintain sprinkler and standpipe systems along with the fire detection system, ensuring proper operational effectiveness and response of these systems.
    • Ensure optimum operating condition of all pumps, compressors and auxiliary equipment.
    • Maintain a consistent flow rate of the chilled and condenser water supply throughout the facilities.
    • Must be able to correct and/or contain mechanical and electrical malfunctions that might occur throughout the building until specialized help, if needed, can be summoned.
    • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
    • Maintain the spare parts inventory of all air handler units and associated mechanical equipment.
    • Maintain cleanliness of all MERs and storage areas, including painting.

    Knowledge and Experience

    • College degree and or college courses preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years experience as a mechanic in related fields, such as HVAC or plumbing.
    • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
    • Proficient communication skills.
    • Basic computer skills
    • Licenses Preferred: FDNY Certificates of Fitness
      • Q01 Refrigeration Operator
      • S12/S13/S14 Combination Standpipe/Sprinkler
      • A35 Compressor
      • G60 Combination Torch/Gas
      • CFC Universal Certificate

    Schedule

    This role is on-site in our Wall Street New York office.

    Base Salary Range for New York Candidates

    The expected base salary for this role is between 70, ,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchanges incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
