    The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation empowers individuals with disabilities to maximize employment, achieveeconomic self-sufficiency and independence, and to contribute back to society. We also help businesses andemployers recruit, retain and accommodate employees with disabilities.

    We are seeking an Administrative Specialist III to provide professional support to the Executive Director'soffice staff, developing, implementing and maintaining various complex programs, projects or activities.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for responding to inquiries and maintaining extensive data regarding complex vocational rehabilitation services and programs.
  • Provide support in the tracking and monitoring of documentation and data required by federal and state entities to ensure agency compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain multiple databases, spreadsheets and other software applications to compile complex programmatic information for the Employment First Council, other councils within the agency,and the Federal Comprehensive System of Personnel Development state plan reports.
  • Use multiple learning management systems to track training and development projects.
  • Provide extensive reports for federal, state and agency training mandates.
  • Assist with development and dissemination of training needs for the agency to promote continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work with the agency outreach and marketing teams to develop, maintain and assist with development of materials necessary for public information regarding services provided by theOffice of Vocational Rehabilitation.
  • Track data associated with the agency outreach programs.
  • Provide complex reports and evaluations of data to the teams as needed.
  • Provide support for in-person, virtual and hybrid meetings related to the Employment First Council and training projects.
  • Serve as point of contact for complex program questions.
  • Work with professional certifying bodies to secure continuing education credits for agency approved certifications.
  • Secure approved related purchases following all purchasing regulations.
  • Utilize technology, social media and other platforms to provide support to the Employment First council, other agency councils, and promotion of agency events for outreach.
  • Perform other duties as required.

    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
